The Duck Lake Road serves as a significant farm to market and commercial freight and goods route in Central Lincoln County. It is also used by tourists who come to enjoy local community events and indirect access to recreation on Federal and State Lands.

The asphaltic surfacing of this road had edge cracking, longitudinal & transverse cracking and wheel rutting as the primary deficiencies. A hot mix asphalt overlay will be installed to prevent further deterioration of the asphaltic surfacing. If not improved at this time, possible reconstruction would be the alternative improvement.

Prior to the project, Lincoln County crack sealed, patched and pre-leveled the roadway. The project consisted of placing a Hot Mix Asphalt overlay by contract and Agency Force construction performed the construction seal, shoulder gravel, delineation, clear zone improvements, and pavement striping. We didn't get any real positive feedback, but there wasn't any negative feedback either. Word of mouth tell us that the area residents appreciate the work that was done.
