Thorn Creek Road is the main route connecting the unincorporated communities of Pine City and Thornton, serving as the local collector for the surrounding agricultural and community traveling south to SR 195.
Existing surface conditions warranted preservation to prevent subsurface damage.
A 2R project was bid and completed for the preservation of the surface conditions to prevent future structural integrity loss of the roadway, this will also reduce maintenance cost in this area for several years.
We have heard from local residents that they are pleased with the results.
