Mason - North Island Drive - Culvert Replacement

This project will remove a tidally influenced constricted flow path under a roadway that serves the northern peninsula of Harstine Island and Jarrell Cove State Park. The existing passage consists of a 3' concrete culvert that is fully submerged at the outlet, except during extreme low tides. The project will reduce the maintenance costs of clearing wooden debris from the inlet and environmental impacts associated with the existing restricted culvert.
