Duck Lake Road serves as a significant farm to market and commercial freight & goods route in Central Lincoln County. Duck Lake Road ultimately connects Highway 28 to the Town of Odessa, WA. The road serves as a route for mail, school and emergency service vehicles. This portion of Duck Lake Road does not meet current design standards and lies between two previously improved sections of Duck Lake Road; a recent STP(R)/RAP overlay project and a funded RAP project to be constructed in the summer of 2023.
This project would consist of widening the roadway to a 26-foot finish width, construct 3:1 or flatter inslopes and replace existing drainage facilities. Crushed surfacing will be placed and a new bituminous treatment will be applied plus other incidental work.
