Sunnyside Road provides a direct connection between the community of Trout Lake, Town of Glenwood and the Gifford Pinchot National Forest. This road is a major route for harvested forest products to reach the market. In addition to providing a route for commerce, Sunnyside Road carries residents and tourists to and from state and federal recreational lands.
Sunnyside Road's asphalt surface needs to be restored by repairing or replacing the existing asphalt where needed and placing two (2) inches lifts of HMA. Minor widening is needed to establish a minimum 22 foot travel way. Fix objects will be removed or relocated from the clear zone.
