This segment of Cameron Lakes Rd was selected as a reconstruction project due to its geometric and structural deficiencies. The road is unpaved, and has several curves posted at less than 30 MPH. This road is seeing increased agricultural traffic for both fruit and wheat, and maintaining the unpaved surface in a satisfactory condition is becoming increasingly difficult. Proposed improvements include ROW acquisition, horizontal and vertical improvements, and paving with HMA or BST. Additional safety improvements will also be included as necessary.
