We are pleased to announce the appointment of Skagit County Commissioner Peter Browning to the County Road Administration Board. Commissioner Browning will be filling the vacant space left after Commissioner Peck's departure.
Commissioner Browning was first elected to the Skagit Board of County Commissioners in 2020. Prior to his election, he worked as Executive Director of the Burlington Edison Chamber of Commerce and previously worked as a Director in the Skagit County Health Department. He also serves as Skagit Regional Health Commissioner.
Commissioner Browning’s health and business background brings a unique perspective to the board. In addition to his work experience, he has severed terms with the boards of Skagit Rotary, United Way of Skagit County, Northwest Incident Command, United General Hospital Quality Control Team, and the Skagit County Substance Abuse board.
Commissioner Browning and his spouse have resided in Skagit Valley with their two kids for over 30 years.
