Are you a newly elected or seasoned county official who could use a refresher on the ins and outs of the relationship between your county’s leadership and county road department? Then our Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) Training is just for you!
It is specifically designed for county commissioners, councilmembers, executives, engineers and their staff members. All participants will be sure to learn something of interest and gain valuable insights for their county operations.
The training will cover legislative authority, statutory frameworks, the role of the County Engineer, the use and protection of the road fund and the resources available to you through the County Road Administration Board. Ample time will be provided for questions and answers at the end of each morning session.
The 2023 training will be led by experts on staff at the County Road Administration Board and will be held virtually over two days:
Thursday, February 23rd from 10am – 12pm
Friday, February 24th from 10am – 12pm
