We are pleased to announce the appointment of Whitman County Commissioner, Art Swannack, to the County Road Administration Board. Commissioner Swannack will be filling the vacant space left after Commissioner Janicki’s departure.
Commissioner Swannack has served for 11 years in his role at Whitman County and is also currently serving on the Freight Mobility Strategic Investment Board (FMSIB) and the Washington State Council on Aging. His prior service includes work as a fire commissioner, school board member and state and national livestock organization leader. He is a graduate of Washington State University with a bachelor's degree in wildlife biology.
Commissioner Swannack resides on a farm in Lamont, WA with his wife Jill, a mixed animal veterinarian, and they enjoy traveling, fishing, hunting and horseback riding together.
