This project is a significant farm to market road. This road is also a primary access road from Clarkston to Lower Granite Dam and juvenile fish facilities and the Snake River. It is ranked one of the highest priority travel and freight corridors in our community. The most prominent deficiencies in need of major Improvements are roadway width, safety, rough ride, adequate ballast, and pavement section. A significant amount of public involvement has occurred in the project selection and ranking process. Work will include subgrade repair, horizontal and vertical curve correction, roadway and shoulder widening, slope flattening, guardrail, hazard elimination, (trees, roadside hazards, slopes), new roadway ballast and surfacing, BST, drainage, signing, striping, seeding, fertilizing, and mulching.
