Okanogan - Bonaparte Lk Rd RC

Bonaparte Lake Rd is the access for residents and a robust year-round recreational draw, including Bonaparte Lake and the Bonaparte Lake Resort. Secondary access is only available via much longer routes on forest service roads. The section of Bonaparte Lake Rd scoped for this project has no engineered base, resulting in constant potholes and surface deformations. The undersized culvert conveying Bonaparte Creek under the road results in water over the road during spring runoff and an occasional summer thunderstorm. The road width is also substandard.
