SignRate 1.1

SignRate is a software tool for collecting sign inventory and maintenance data in the field. After collecting your field data, you can upload it via Mobility Web Services for synching into Mobility.

August 2008 SignRate 1.1 release

This new release includes a milepost calculator tool and usability improvements. Several county feedback reports wereaddressed. See SignRate's Help for more information.

Click the link below to download the SignRate 1.1 zip file that includes SignRate and the .NET Framework 2.0 installation files. The latest version of the Microsoft.NET Framework 2.0 is required to run SignRate 1.1.

Before You Begin

1. First consult with your Mobility administrator to make any desired changes to your sign maintenance settings. Mobility Administrators can now edit and create local maintenance codes, specify codes for the sign inventory, and link codes to a sign installation, removal, or inspection.
2. Make sure your sign lookup tables and maintenance Requested By section is up-to-date before you create the database to use with SignRate.
3. Install SignRate on the field laptop. Create the database using Mobility Web Services and then copy the database to the field laptop. Start SignRate and you are asked to browse to the database location to connect SignRate to your sign database. You are then ready to use SignRate 1.1. Click Help on SignRate's menu bar for more information.
4. View the Maintenance topics in the Mobility Help for more information on configuring your Sign Maintenance settings prior to installing VisRate.

SignRate Installation Process

1. Click the download button above and then click Save to save it to your computer.
2. Back up any existing SignRate.mdb file to a different folder if needed.
3. Uninstall any previous version of SignRate.
4. Go to the Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs on your computer. Check the list of currently installed programs for Microsoft.NET Framework 2.0. If needed, install the Microsoft.NET Framework 2.0 included in the SignRate 1.1 zip file.
5. Unzip and then double-click the SignRateSetup.msi file to install the program. Refer to the SignRate 1.1 Help for more information.
6. Get technical support for SignRate.
